What is Blepharoplasty?

While aging is a gift, it does come with a few unwanted side effects, one of which is sagging skin. Skin can begin to sag anywhere on the body with age, even on the eyelids, as the skin loses its elasticity.

Blepharoplasty at SoCal Vision Center is a procedure that removes excess skin from the eyelids. Patients can require this eye lift procedure for several reasons. In some cases, sagging skin is obstructing the patient’s vision. Some patients choose to undergo this procedure for solely cosmetic reasons.

Blepharoplasty can be performed on the upper and lower eyelids.
